E.P.A. Certified Renovator Requirements
Contractors, Painters, Landlords! If you are working in a home built before 1978, you are required to provide information about lead-based paint to occupants and owners of homes, and owners and parents of child-occupied facilities. Starting April 22, 2010 anyone who disturbs six square feet or more of a home built before 1978 will have to become an E.P.A. Certified Renovator.
